MR Device Revolution™ ACT

Description

All over the world, millions of patients still expect to receive the standard of care they need at an affordable cost. Healthcare providers are looking for new technologies to help more patients and achieve better results. With its simplicity and speed, CT is arguably the most valuable diagnostic imaging tool in healthcare. However, the capacity of this device to improve patient care is unfortunately not enough. All revolutions have a starting point. Our revolution began with the completely redesigned Revolution CT system, which pioneered the future of IT. Now we are promoting Revolution ACT. Revolution ACT is designed not only as a product, but also as a solution that helps you provide better care to more patients. Helping you achieve your IT service objectives is our primary goal. You will find the most advanced technologies of Revolution CT such as new Clarity panel detector, user interface and Organ Dose Modulation in Revolution ACT. You will feel safer clinically and economically with its smart innovations. Revolution ACT: Exactly what you need to succeed. And exactly what you expect from GE.

New Clarity panel detector

The new Clarity panel detector is just one of GE’s innovations in IT since 1976. It is the primary goal of our technology to provide uninterrupted and higher image quality for our clinicians and patients. Revolution ACT’s innovative detector technology is designed to both protect your investments in the long term and provide clinical capacity and economic return.
The Clarity panel detector incorporates many elements such as the integrated detector design and data processing chipsets found in our superior Revolution CT. The new detector design takes advantage of the latest developments in the semiconductor and electronic device industry, making the detectors more compact, more integrated and effective.
Highly innovative split panel designs have been created with advanced packaging and miniaturization technology for lower energy consumption and improved thermal performance. Thanks to the thermal control placed on the integrated panel, the detector provides higher accuracy and the start-up time of the detector is shortened.
Denser network connectivity and modern A / D chips provide better * signal linearity with fast response time. With the DAS or DoD design in the Integrated Detector, the analog signal transmission length from Detector to DAS is cut to virtual zero, thus reducing noise by up to 20% and improving image quality *.

The Advanced Shooting Process *

Higher sampling density provides better representation of the original signal and can result in improved image quality and accuracy. The term “conjugate samples” means two projection samples 180 ° apart at their projection angle, but equidistant from the isocenter. Considering both sets of projection measurements, we achieve a significantly increased sample density and can therefore improve the overall shot. Using GE’s new conjugate cone beam reconstruction algorithm, the conjugate array of projections is considered together with the back projection step, providing enhanced Z-axis imaging performance. Conjugate cone beam exposure enables 32-slice imaging in Revolution ACT.

Ultra Kernel

Noise and artifacts prevented the generation of high quality CT images in low-dose examinations, which reduced risks to patients. Advanced image reconstruction techniques break grounds by offering high image quality in multi-slice CT exams at a significantly lower dose than before. ASiR uses sophisticated statistical modeling to preserve anatomical details while removing noise from images. This enables the creation of the same or better quality image with lower tube current or tube voltage, ie lower dose, in all CT applications where it is used. ASiR is one of the most important dose reduction technologies available in our premium product range. ASiR is the most used dose reduction software in the industry. Compared to standard image reconstruction, it allows healthcare professionals to reduce patients’ doses by up to 40% without degrading image quality. ASiR low contrast improves detectability and can have image quality equivalent to 1.67 times mA shooting. Operators can more easily manage scans with longer reach. The ASiR’s maximum tube power and current allows the tube to support longer-term helical scans, achieving the same image quality with less tube heat output at lower mA. Revolution ACT performance will be equivalent to 40KW and 333mA (equivalent to 3.3 MHu tube heat capacity at 120 kV with ASiR). This improved efficiency provides lower power consumption and operational cost for managers.

Smart Dose: Organ Dose Modulation (ODM) *

Organ Dose Modulation (ODM), breasts, eyes, gonads, etc. by x-ray tube current modulation. It is a scanning mode developed for dose reduction for superficial tissues. ODM was developed to achieve the target of dose reduction of a shield material without any negative impact on imaging performance. ODM not only reduces the dose of the sensitive organ by up to 40%, it also optimizes the overall dose while maintaining the user-selected noise index (NI) value.
