Name and amount of active ingredient: Povidone iodine (iodine complex) (CAS: 25655-41-8) 10%
Excipients: ph regulators 4.32%; thickener 0.5%; solvents 85.18%
Usage: It is used as a skin and mucosal disinfectant before surgery, gynecological and birth aid measures, biopsy, injection and blood collection. For antiseptic wound treatments, burns, pyodermia, mycotic and bacterial infections and superinfected dermatoses. It is used as a hygienic and surgical hand disinfectant. It is also used for first aid in minor injuries.
Usage: It is allowed to dry by rubbing on the skin and mucosa around the wound, without diluting it. Shelf life is 24 months when stored at room temperature below 25 C, in its package, sealed and protected from light.
