Direct RT-qPCR SARS-CoV-2

Direct RT-qPCR SARS-CoV-2 kit is a real-time, one-step reverse transcription PCR test used for the qualitative detection of the SARS-CoV-2 specific ORF1ab gene. The test includes vNATTM buffer, which extracts and protects viral nucleic acids in respiratory samples. The vNATTM buffer enables real-time RT-qPCR to be initiated within 5 minutes after combining with the sample coming to the laboratory. Provides results in an hour for improved workflow and patient care management.The sensitivity of the Direct RT-qPCR SARS-CoV-2 kit was determined to be 97.8% and the specificity was determined as 100%. The test is an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) authorized by the US FDA for use by licensed laboratories.
